FSE Lead (.Net/ Azure)
About the role
As a Full Stack Lead Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-performing applications while partnering with client stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, client managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

In this role, you will
Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions, guiding technical design and advancements.
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern Microsoft technologies.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate coding, testing, and troubleshooting, and implement basic AI-driven features such as chat-based interfaces or lightweight automation agents.
Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and monitor Azure infrastructure (CPU, memory, logs) to optimize performance.

What you need to have to be considered
Strong expertise as a Full Stack Developer in Microsoft technologies (.NET, Azure, SQL) and modern UI frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services.
Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity.
These will help you stand out
Familiarity with building simple AI-driven workflows, chatbots, or AI agents using modern frameworks or APIs.
Experience optimizing application and infrastructure performance through monitoring and tuning.
Experience collaborating directly with client stakeholders to shape technical direction.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $131,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
