Business Analyst – Fraud Risk Management (Banking & Financial Services)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Fraud Risk Management within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations teams to define requirements, analyze fraud risks, enhance anti-fraud solutions, and drive end-to-end project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business and functional requirements and prepare BRD, FRD, and FSD documents.
- Perform Business Analysis, Impact Analysis, Gap Analysis, and System Analysis for projects and enhancement initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned projects/workstreams.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and Business teams throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production deployments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Conduct requirement walkthroughs and knowledge-transfer sessions for Development and QA teams.
- Assist in production support activities and help resolve critical business issues.
- Work on enterprise-wide initiatives and participate in front-to-back testing activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services.
- Strong experience in Fraud Risk Management and anti-fraud programs/solutions.
- Hands-on experience with fraud rules, scenarios, fraud monitoring, and fraud data analysis.
- Good understanding of fraud typologies, fraud prevention, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience in Data Analysis, Data Mapping, and Data Exploration from a fraud perspective.
- Proficiency in SQL and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience conducting workshops with business, operations, and technology stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate fraud roadmaps, enhancements, and recommendations to business partners.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Fraud Management products/tools such as Actimize, Mantas, SAS, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and fraud detection use cases.
- Exposure to AML, KYC, and Sanctions domains.
- Understanding of Payments, Capital Markets, Financial Instruments, and other BFSI areas.
Education & Certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, BE/B.Tech, B.Sc. Computer Science, or equivalent.

- CAMS
- CAMI
- SAFe PO/PM
- CSM
- CSPO
