Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Program Manager with Product Management expertise to lead enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive the strategy, roadmap, governance, and delivery of IAM products and programs while partnering with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Compliance, Risk, and Business stakeholders.
This role requires a blend of product leadership, program management, cybersecurity expertise, and stakeholder management to modernize identity services, strengthen security controls, improve user experience, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
- Define and own the IAM product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on security risk, business value, compliance requirements, and customer needs.
- Manage IAM product backlogs and drive adoption across business units.
- Develop business cases, KPIs, success metrics, and ROI measures for IAM initiatives.
Program & Project Management
- Lead large-scale IAM transformation programs from planning through production deployment.
- Manage scope, budget, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and executive reporting.
- Establish governance frameworks, steering committees, and program dashboards.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams across security, infrastructure, cloud, applications, and third-party vendors.
- Drive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and mitigation plans.
IAM & Security Leadership
- Lead implementation and modernization initiatives involving:
- Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM)
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Zero Trust Security Architecture
- Ensure adherence to security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and audit controls.
- Partner with Security Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to address vulnerabilities and control gaps.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Build relationships with C-level executives, security leaders, application owners, and business stakeholders.
- Manage vendor engagements and strategic partnerships.
- Facilitate executive communications and governance reviews.
- Drive alignment across business and technology organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of Project and Program Management experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading IAM or Cybersecurity programs.
- Strong experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial management, and governance.

Compensation: We are offering Base salary between $100,000 – $121,000. Applications will be accepted until Oct 13th, 2026.Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
