Job Summary

This role involves providing subject matter expertise in investment banking with a focus on risk management billing and invoicing processes. The candidate will utilize their technical proficiency in MS Excel to streamline operations and ensure compliance with industry standards. The position operates on a hybrid work model with day shifts and does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data to support risk management and billing processes in investment banking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate fee calculations and invoice generation for exchange and clearing operations.
  • Develop and maintain advanced MS Excel models to help with reconciliations of brokerage and trade validation
  • Ensure all daily and monthly activities are performed within manual and electronic brokerage settlements
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve billing and invoicing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency in exchange and clearing activities.
  • Support the development of automated solutions for billing and invoicing tasks using MS Excel functionalities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of billing systems with other financial platforms.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in risk management billing and MS Excel usage.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively address potential impacts on operations.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with the companys objectives and contribute to its broader societal impact.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong expertise in MS Excel including advanced functions pivot tables and macros.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks and their application in exchange and clearing operations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in billing and invoicing processes specific to investment banking.
  • Showcase excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial scenarios.
  • Have a solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements in investment banking.
  • Display effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Bring prior experience in process optimization and automation using MS Excel.
  • Show adaptability to hybrid work models and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry advancements.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Possess a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking.
  • Showcase a commitment to contributing to the companys purpose and societal impact through their work.
