Responsibilities : -Architect end to end insurance product solutions using Duck Creek Rating Policy Center Manuscripts Utilities and Core to meet complex business requirements while maintaining high performance and scalability -Design target architectures and integration patterns that enable efficient configuration of rating policy administration and manuscript rules across multiple product lines and regions -Guide product teams on optimal use of Duck Creek components to achieve consistent implementation standards reduce technical debt and support future expansion of capabilities -Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate insurance product concepts into detailed architectural designs and implementation approaches that are easy to maintain -Provide technical direction on configuration structures data models and workflow patterns within Duck Creek applications to streamline policy processing and rating execution -Review solution designs and configuration changes to ensure alignment with architectural principles regulatory expectations and nonfunctional requirements such as reliability and security -Develop reference implementations and reusable design assets that accelerate delivery of new insurance products while preserving quality and reducing rework for project teams -Oversee end to end technical assessments of new features and change requests to evaluate impact on Duck Creek Rating Policy Center Manuscripts and Utilities modules -Coordinate with infrastructure and operations stakeholders to ensure hybrid work model delivery is supported by stable environments effective monitoring and smooth deployments for day shift operations -Optimize product solutions for maintainability by defining clear configuration boundaries documentation standards and versioning practices for rating tables policy logic and manuscript content -Support production teams in analyzing complex incidents by tracing configuration dependencies across Duck Creek components and recommending sustainable remediation options -Engage with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure that insurance product architectures comply with organizational guidelines and contribute to a resilient technology landscape -Drive continuous improvement by assessing existing Duck Creek implementations identifying simplification opportunities and proposing architectural enhancements that deliver measurable value. Qualifications -Demonstrate extensive experience in Duck Creek Rating by configuring rating algorithms tables and decision rules that accurately reflect diverse insurance pricing strategies -Exhibit strong proficiency in Duck Creek Policy Center through design of policy life cycle flows transaction structures and underwriting interactions that support complex commercial and personal lines -Apply deep knowledge of Duck Creek Manuscripts to construct clear policy language structures endorsements and clause libraries that are easy to manage and update across jurisdictions -Utilize hands on expertise with Duck Creek Utilities to build scalable batch processes data export options and configuration tools that improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities -Show advanced capability in Duck Creek Core by modeling data entities workflow orchestration and service interactions that provide a stable foundation for product development -Leverage broad understanding of insurance domain concepts such as rating underwriting policy servicing and regulatory compliance to design solutions that are both technically sound and business relevant -Apply strong experience in enterprise solution architecture within a large organization to align Duck Creek implementations with strategic roadmaps and long term platform evolution -Use proven skills in hybrid work delivery to collaborate effectively with distributed teams ensuring clear communication of architectural decisions and timely resolution of technical queries -Draw on a professional background of fourteen to eighteen years in technology roles with substantial exposure to insurance platforms and complex system integration work 9.
