We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual and automation testing within the Salesforce ecosystem and should be able to validate system functionality, integrations, and performance.
In this role, you will
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Salesforce applications.
- Execute manual test cases and identify opportunities to develop and initiate automated test scripts.
- Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Ensure the quality of Salesforce releases and deployments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required skills:
- Overall 5-8 years of QA testing experience.
- Must have 4+ years of experience in Salesforce Testing (manual and automation).
- Must have experience with Salesforce CRM modules and workflows.
- Must have experience writing intermediate SQL queries (SoQL)
- Ability to analyze business requirements for testability and design test data.
- Experience with writing Test Plans, Test Cases and Hands-on Test Execution.
- Familiarity with API Testing and integration testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Total compensation:
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 55,000 – 73,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
Working arrangements
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a Cognizant or client office in Toronto.
