Responsibilities : -Design configure and maintain AVEVA PI Historian solutions that reliably capture operational data from diverse manufacturing systems and equipment to support high quality decision making across the enterprise. -Implement robust data acquisition interfaces from shop floor devices and plant systems into AVEVA PI Historian while ensuring accurate tagging time stamping and contextualization for downstream analytics uses. -Optimize data models tag structures and calculation strategies within AVEVA PI Historian to improve query performance reporting flexibility and consistency of operational intelligence across plants. -Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to translate process requirements into technical specifications for historian configuration event frames and data views that clearly reflect real world operations. -Develop test and deploy PI based dashboards trends and reports that enable operations engineering and planning teams to monitor performance indicators and quickly identify process deviations. -Troubleshoot data flow connectivity performance and configuration issues in AVEVA PI environments and coordinate with infrastructure teams to restore normal operations with minimal downtime. -Document system architectures interface details configuration standards and operating procedures to support maintainability knowledge sharing and compliance with internal governance. -Coordinate change implementation activities for historian related enhancements by performing impact analysis preparing test plans and executing changes during planned maintenance windows in the day shift. -Engage with stakeholders in manufacturing and supply chain functions to continuously identify opportunities for new historian use cases that enhance throughput quality energy efficiency and asset utilization. -Apply secure configuration practices and access controls for AVEVA PI components to protect sensitive operational data while enabling appropriate visibility for global functional teams. -Support hybrid work arrangements by using remote access tools and collaboration platforms to monitor systems perform configuration updates and provide timely incident resolution without requiring travel. -Align daily activities with company sustainability and efficiency goals by enabling data driven insights that help reduce waste optimize resource consumption and improve service levels to customers. -Participate in periodic system health checks capacity reviews and upgrade planning for historian infrastructure to ensure scalability and readiness for future digital initiatives. -Qualifications -Possess professional experience of four to eight years in execution systems engineering or closely related industrial data roles with significant hands on work in AVEVA PI Historian environments. -Demonstrate strong proficiency in configuring tags interfaces asset structures and event frames in AVEVA PI along with practical skills in designing trends displays and performance dashboards. -Bring applied knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain processes so that system configurations calculations and visualizations accurately reflect production flows inventory movements and quality controls. -Show familiarity with common shop floor systems such as distributed control programmable controllers or manufacturing applications enabling effective integration with historian data acquisition components. -Exhibit capability to analyze complex technical issues break them into manageable tasks and communicate clear resolution steps to both technical peers and nontechnical stakeholders in hybrid work settings. -Display solid understanding of data quality concepts including validation reconciliation and exception handling so that historian based reports and analytics can be trusted by business users. -Highlight any exposure to related analytics tools scripting or reporting platforms that complement historian capabilities and support advanced performance monitoring in manufacturing and supply chain operations. 9.
