Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000/Year to $120,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities
- Drive discovery workshops with business and technology partners to elicit clarify and document complex digital experience requirements that align with strategic objectives and customer expectations
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear epics user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira ensuring traceability across the requirement lifecycle for each initiative
- Coordinate end to end requirement lifecycle management from initial intake through approval change control and final validation to maintain alignment between business goals and implemented solutions
- Facilitate collaborative whiteboarding sessions using digital tools to visualize customer journeys process flows and service blueprints that clarify user needs and system interactions
- Apply user experience principles to analyze current journeys identify friction points and design improved experiences that enhance usability adoption and satisfaction across digital channels
- Partner with product owners scrum masters and delivery teams in a hybrid work model to prioritize backlogs refine stories and remove impediments that impact timely and high quality delivery
- Lead sprint ceremonies such as backlog refinement sprint planning and reviews ensuring that business value acceptance criteria and definition of done are consistently understood and met
- Engage stakeholders across business units to manage expectations negotiate priorities and secure alignment on scope timelines and success metrics for digital transformation initiatives
- Conduct structured analysis of business processes data flows and system capabilities to recommend enhancements that increase efficiency quality and customer centricity
- Create comprehensive documentation including business requirement documents process maps user journey artefacts and operational readiness materials to support implementation and future maintenance
- Collaborate with user experience designers researchers and engineering teams to validate prototypes support usability evaluations and refine solutions based on evidence and feedback
- Monitor delivery outcomes by defining measurable key performance indicators tracking benefits realization and providing insights that inform continuous improvement of products and services
- Align day to day activities with the company mission by ensuring that each digital enhancement contributes to better customer experiences operational excellence and positive societal impact through accessible and inclusive design
Qualifications
- Combine ten to fourteen years of progressive experience in business analysis with a focus on digital transformation agile delivery and customer experience improvement in complex environments
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in user experience concepts journey mapping and service design with the ability to translate research insights into actionable requirements and solution options
- Exhibit strong hands on experience with requirement lifecycle management tools and practices ensuring traceability version control and governance across multiple concurrent projects
- Show proven capability in stakeholder management by building trust managing diverse expectations and guiding cross functional teams toward shared outcomes without formal authority
- Apply practical experience as a scrum master or agile facilitator including coaching teams on agile principles supporting ceremonies and enabling continuous delivery in a hybrid work setting
- Utilize expert level skills with Jira and related collaboration platforms to manage product backlogs track progress visualize dependencies and communicate status to distributed teams
- Display proficiency with digital whiteboarding tools used for ideation journey mapping and workshop facilitation enabling inclusive participation across onsite and remote collaborators
- Prefer experience in research and development environments where structured experimentation rapid prototyping and evidence based decision making are central to delivering innovative solutions
- Communicate complex concepts in a clear concise and structured manner to technical and non technical audiences enabling informed decisions and shared understanding of tradeoffs
- Commit to continuous learning by staying current with evolving customer experience practices agile frameworks and digital tools while mentoring peers and junior analysts in best practices
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines in all analysis documentation and stakeholder interactions supporting trust and long term resilience
