Job Summary
This role supports policy servicing activities for a global property and casualty insurance client focusing on accurate documentation policy updates and data validation using MS Office tools. The specialist ensures timely completion of tasks during night shift hours from the office helping maintain service quality compliance standards and a seamless experience for internal stakeholders and end customers.
Responsibilities
Process daily policy servicing requests by updating records endorsements and documentation in line with defined procedures to support accurate and timely insurance lifecycle management.Validate policy data against reference sources and internal guidelines using structured checklists to minimize errors and safeguard compliance with regulatory expectations.Prepare format and maintain policy related documents logs and trackers using MS Office applications to ensure clear audit trails and easy access for internal teams.Monitor assigned work queues throughout the night shift and prioritize activities based on service level timelines to uphold agreed turnaround times for policy servicing.Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams through email and virtual interactions to clarify instructions resolve discrepancies and ensure consistent execution of client requirements.Document process steps observations and recurring issues in standardized templates to support continuous improvement and smoother onboarding of future team members.Review renewal cancellation and endorsement instructions carefully and translate them into accurate policy data changes to maintain alignment between client directives and system records.Generate periodic reports and summaries in spreadsheets and presentations that highlight volumes error trends and aging of work items to support informed decision making by supervisors.Follow quality control checklists for every transaction and record defects or rework items to enable root cause analysis and improvement of process controls.Adhere to information security data privacy and compliance policies throughout all tasks to protect sensitive customer information and uphold organizational standards.Coordinate with quality analysts when feedback is shared and implement suggested changes in subsequent transactions to enhance personal accuracy and productivity levels.Adapt to evolving client instructions new formats and updated guidelines by carefully reviewing communications and incorporating changes into daily work practices.Provide support for knowledge sharing within the team by updating reference documents and participating in discussions that address complex or unusual policy scenarios.
Qualifications
Possess professional experience of two to four years in back office or operations roles with strong exposure to MS Office applications including spreadsheets documents and presentations.Demonstrate advanced proficiency in creating editing and analyzing data in spreadsheets to manage large volumes of policy information with high attention to detail.Exhibit ability to draft clear and structured documents using word processing tools to capture policy changes standard operating procedures and internal communications.Show familiarity with property and casualty insurance concepts such as policy issuance endorsements renewals and cancellations even if exposure has been limited or partial.Display strong written and verbal communication skills suited for coordination with global stakeholders during night shifts and for documenting work outcomes clearly.Indicate readiness to work full time from office in a night shift model with consistent attendance and flexibility for process specific timing needs.Apply basic analytical thinking to identify anomalies in policy data highlight potential issues and seek clarification before processing transactions.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include MS Office Specialist or equivalent productivity tool certifications relevant to document and data handling.
