Job Summary
Join a global technology team as a Developer focused on building and optimizing workflow and data driven solutions using IBM BAW Oracle SQL RDBMS and JavaScript. Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust workflow solutions on IBM BAW that streamline complex business processes and improve operational efficiency for global stakeholders.
- Implement and optimize Oracle SQL queries stored logic and database structures to ensure high performance data integrity and reliable transaction processing.
- Develop responsive front end components using JavaScript to deliver intuitive user experiences that support efficient task completion and decision making.
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate functional requirements into technical designs that align with enterprise standards and long term scalability.
- Integrate IBM BAW workflows with backend systems and services to enable seamless data exchange straight through processing and end to end automation.
- Write clean modular and reusable code following coding standards version control practices and peer review processes to maintain high quality deliverables.
- Perform unit testing integration testing and debugging to identify defects early improve system stability and reduce production incidents.
- Analyze production issues perform root cause analysis and implement durable fixes that prevent recurrence and enhance platform reliability.
- Document technical designs configurations and deployment steps to support knowledge sharing maintainability and smooth handover across distributed teams.
- Work closely with database administrators to tune queries indexes and data models that support growing data volumes and evolving reporting demands.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and execute deployments in hybrid environments ensuring minimal downtime and predictable release cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements automations and code refactoring that reduce manual effort and support business growth.
- Apply secure coding practices and data protection guidelines in all development activities to safeguard sensitive information and comply with regulatory expectations.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and effort estimation to provide realistic timelines that support effective sprint planning and stakeholder transparency.
- Engage with quality assurance teams to clarify scenarios refine test data and validate that implemented features meet acceptance criteria and user expectations.
Qualifications
- Apply proven experience working with Oracle SQL RDBMS to design schemas write complex queries and support transactional applications in an enterprise setting.
- Demonstrate hands on experience with IBM BAW including workflow modeling human tasks and integration services used to automate business processes.
- Utilize practical JavaScript skills to build or enhance user interfaces that interact with backend services and support dynamic data driven views.
- Leverage prior exposure to hybrid work environments to collaborate effectively across onsite and remote teams using modern communication and tracking tools.
- Draw on experience in asset and wealth management domains when available to better understand financial products client journeys and regulatory constraints.
- Showcase familiarity with software development life cycle practices including requirements analysis design development testing and production support.
- Apply strong problem solving skills and attention to detail to investigate data issues workflow bottlenecks and performance anomalies in complex systems.
- Use written and verbal communication skills to document work clearly interact with stakeholders and support knowledge transfer within the team.
Certifications Required
IBM Certified Developer Business Automation Workflow Oracle Database SQL certification preferred
