Job Summary
The Sr Developer will design build and optimize integration and API solutions using webMethods platforms and Java to support new product development in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on secure resilient and reusable integrations across IOT B2B MFT and event driven architectures while ensuring high quality robust automation and reliable delivery for enterprise scale initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design end to end integration solutions using webMethods Integration Product and webMethods SOA Stack to enable robust connectivity across enterprise applications and external partners.
- Develop resilient services on webMethods Service Bus that support reusable patterns for synchronous and asynchronous integration flows in complex digital ecosystems.
- Implement and maintain webMethods.io Integration workflows that orchestrate cloud native services to support new product development in a scalable manner.
- Build secure and efficient APIs using webMethods.io API and Rest API technologies that expose consistent interfaces for internal consumers and external partners.
- Create and maintain SOAP based services where needed to support legacy and partner integrations while ensuring alignment with modern API guidelines.
- Develop Java components and adapters that extend webMethods Adapters capabilities to address custom integration and transformation requirements.
- Configure and support webMethods.io B2B and MFT solutions that enable secure file exchanges and trading partner connectivity for new product offerings.
- Design and implement webMethods IOT data ingestion and processing flows that capture device telemetry and events to power digital product features.
- Implement event driven architectures using webMethods EDA capabilities that support near real time processing and business responsiveness.
- Use GITHUB for source code management branching strategies and pull request workflows to maintain high quality traceable and collaborative development practices.
- Coordinate hybrid work model collaboration through clear documentation code reviews and knowledge sharing to ensure consistent delivery across distributed teams.
- Optimize integration performance and reliability through proactive monitoring tuning and root cause analysis that enhance system stability.
- Ensure secure development practices by applying authentication authorization and data protection controls across all APIs and integration flows.
- Align integration solutions with new product development roadmaps by working closely with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Document integration designs interface contracts and operational runbooks to enable easy onboarding and sustainable support for delivered solutions.
- Participate in defect triage issue resolution and continuous improvement activities to ensure stable day shift operations without travel requirements.
Qualifications
- possess six to ten years of hands on experience in webMethods Integration Product webMethods SOA Stack and webMethods Service Bus for enterprise integration initiatives.
- demonstrate strong practical expertise in webMethods.io Integration webMethods.io API webMethods.io B2B and MFT to build cloud native integration solutions.
- exhibit solid programming experience in Java with focus on integration patterns object oriented design and reusable component development.
- show proven experience with webMethods Adapters Rest API and SOAP based services to support diverse connectivity and messaging needs.
- apply working knowledge of webMethods IOT and webMethods EDA to design event driven and IOT enabled solutions in new product development contexts.
- maintain proficiency with GITHUB including branching models code review processes and continuous integration workflows.
- bring domain experience in new product development for technology driven offerings including exposure to product lifecycle and release processes.
- display familiarity with hybrid work models and collaborative tools to operate effectively in distributed teams and day shift environments.
