The Sr Developer role focuses on designing building and enhancing integrations using SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite and SEE MFT for a global retail focused enterprise operating in a hybrid work model. Responsibilities
Design and implement integration solutions using SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite to enable reliable data exchange across enterprise platforms and partner systemsConfigure and optimize SEE MFT components to support secure managed file transfer workflows that meet stringent compliance and performance expectationsDevelop reusable integration mappings and transformation components that standardize data handling for merchandising and other core enterprise domainsAnalyze existing integration landscapes to identify performance bottlenecks and propose targeted improvements that enhance throughput and stabilityCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to refine integration requirements and ensure alignment with strategic priorities and operational constraintsTroubleshoot complex integration incidents by performing structured root cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective actions that reduce future disruptionsCreate detailed technical specifications and integration design documents that provide clear guidance for implementation support and future enhancementsExecute unit testing and integration testing activities that validate functional accuracy data integrity and non functional performance requirements for all integration flowsMonitor production integrations and MFT jobs using available tools and dashboards to detect anomalies early and initiate timely remediation stepsAutomate routine deployment and configuration tasks where feasible to reduce manual effort improve consistency and support faster delivery cyclesPartner with merchandising focused teams to translate domain specific scenarios into robust integration workflows that improve product availability and inventory visibilityApply secure coding and data protection practices in all integration and MFT implementations to safeguard sensitive information and maintain regulatory alignmentContribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing technical insights documenting integration patterns and mentoring peers on SEEBURGER and SEE MFT usage
Qualifications
Possess professional experience ranging from four to six years in integration development with strong focus on SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite implementation and supportDemonstrate hands on expertise in configuring SEE MFT for secure file transfer scenarios including encryption authentication scheduling and monitoring activitiesShow practical understanding of retail or merchandising processes such as item management pricing promotions and inventory flows and apply this knowledge to integration designExhibit proficiency with structured data formats and messaging standards including XML JSON flat files and common enterprise integration patterns that support complex business use casesDisplay solid skills in troubleshooting production incidents using logs monitoring dashboards and diagnostic tools to resolve issues within agreed service levelsCommunicate clearly with cross functional teams by explaining technical details in accessible terms and documenting integration solutions for long term maintainabilityAdapt effectively to a hybrid work model by using collaboration tools managing time independently and coordinating tasks across distributed teams without productivity lossCommit to continuous learning in integration technologies security practices and retail trends in order to keep solutions current and improve overall delivery quality
