Salesforce - Data Technology Architect

Job Summary

This hybrid role seeks a Technology Architect with ten to fourteen years of experience in Salesforce platforms including Experience Cloud Sales Cloud Lightning configuration integration and customization to design scalable digital solutions that enhance user experience and support business stakeholders in day operations while aligning with enterprise standards and long term strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions that deliver intuitive user journeys while supporting key digital engagement channels and aligning with enterprise architecture roadmaps
• Define robust architectures for SFDC Sales Cloud implementations that optimize sales processes pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy while meeting compliance and security guidelines
• Provide technical oversight for SFDC Lightning component frameworks that improve usability performance and maintainability of user facing applications in a hybrid work environment
• Develop integration patterns for SFDC Integration scenarios that ensure reliable data synchronization with upstream and downstream systems while maintaining data quality and traceability
• Guide SFDC development and customization efforts that translate complex business requirements into maintainable configurations and custom components with minimal technical debt
• Review configuration and customization changes in SFDC configuration to confirm adherence to coding standards reuse of assets and conformance with non functional requirements such as performance and scalability
• Collaborate with IT business support teams to analyze production issues propose sustainable Salesforce design improvements and ensure smooth day shift operations without requiring travel
• Engage with user experience specialists to translate interaction designs and journey maps into Salesforce solutions that improve accessibility adoption and satisfaction across diverse user groups
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to plan release strategies sandbox usage and deployment sequencing that reduce risk and downtime for critical Salesforce Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud features
• Conduct impact assessments for proposed Salesforce changes that evaluate dependencies integration touchpoints and configuration implications to minimize regression issues and production incidents
• Drive adoption of configuration first and declarative approaches in SFDC platforms that reduce custom code footprints while preserving flexibility for evolving business demands
• Prepare technical design documents integration specifications and configuration guidelines that help development and support teams sustain stable Salesforce landscapes over the long term
• Provide guidance on environment strategy data migration plans and test approaches that support reliable rollout of new Salesforce capabilities within day shift windows

Qualifications

• Possess ten to fourteen years of overall technology experience with a strong focus on Salesforce platforms covering Experience Cloud Sales Cloud Lightning configuration integration and customization across enterprise environments
• Demonstrate hands on expertise in designing and implementing Salesforce Experience Cloud sites that support diverse user communities and align with complex security and sharing requirements
• Exhibit practical experience with SFDC integration patterns including middleware file based and API driven approaches that ensure reliable data exchange with enterprise and external systems
• Show proven capability in SFDC Lightning design and development including modern user interfaces reusable components and responsive layouts that enhance usability for business users
• Bring solid experience in SFDC configuration including object modeling automation flows and security configuration that support maintainable and future proof business solutions
• Display strong background in SFDC development and customization using best practices that emphasize quality performance and alignment with configuration driven design principles
• Apply domain knowledge in user experience to partner effectively with designers interpret journey maps and embed human centered design principles into Salesforce architectures
• Leverage experience in IT business support to design solutions that simplify operations streamline incident resolution workflows and reduce manual interventions for support teams
• Operate effectively in a hybrid work model by using collaboration tools documentation and structured communication methods to keep distributed teams aligned on Salesforce architecture decisions
• Communicate complex architectural concepts in clear and practical terms to stakeholders at varied levels so that decisions regarding Salesforce investments are well informed and transparent
