About the role
As an ICM Training Analyst, you will support the Global Training & Awareness Lead in delivering and scaling the crisis training and scenario-based exercise programme within Integrated Crisis Management (ICM). You will be a key member of the ICM team within Global Business Resilience (GBR), Corporate Security, collaborating closely with the Global Training & Awareness Lead, ICM leads, and senior stakeholders across the function. You will help increase the frequency, diversity, and quality of crisis exercises — with particular emphasis on AI-specific scenarios that prepare leadership for an increasingly AI-driven threat environment. As a team of self-starters, you can work with impact alongside our vibrant people and culture, all while enjoying unmatched learning opportunities.
In this role, you will:
- Support the design and build of crisis exercise scenarios under the direction of the Programme Lead, across emerging risk areas including cyber, geopolitical, and operational threats.
- Support the development of AI-specific crisis scenarios — such as model misuse, AI-enabled cyberattacks, and AI system failures — helping equip leadership to anticipate and respond to the risks of an increasingly AI-driven threat environment.
- Support the preparation and delivery of executive tabletop exercises and briefings, including presenting content and capturing outcomes and actions.
- Design clear, professional presentation material and engage confidently with senior stakeholders across GBR and Corporate Security.
- Produce exercise materials — scenario narratives, injects, facilitation guides, pre-reads, and polling content — to a consistent, high-quality standard.
- Maintain exercise trackers, evidence folders, and artefacts to agreed standards, and support programme tracking, governance, delivery-readiness checks, and validation of IRT orientation data.
- Maintain programme content and platforms — including web and intranet pages — and administer ServiceNow records and attachments, maintaining data integrity across systems.
- Embrace our vibrant culture by striving for excellence, focusing on meaningful outcomes, and collaborating effectively. Take ownership, build relationships, and focus on personal growth to drive business strategy and foster an inclusive culture, creating unmatched career opportunities and impactful work.
What you must have to be considered
- Experience in programme coordination, training and exercise support, business resilience, crisis management, or a closely related discipline (typically 3–6 years).
- A confident communicator and presenter, comfortable engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365 / Teams, intranet / web content, and PowerPoint.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves a greater good for customers, communities, or global challenges.
- The embodiment of Cognizant’s Values of: Work as One, Dare to Innovate, Raise the Bar, Do The right Thing, & Own It
These will help you succeed
- Familiarity with, or strong interest in, the AI risk landscape — including model misuse, AI-enabled attacks, and AI system failures.
- Experience supporting scenario or content design for training and exercises.
- A background or interest in security, risk, business resilience, or crisis management.
- Confidence supporting or facilitating workshops and tabletop exercises.
