About the Role
Cognizant is seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior ServiceNow Consultant to join our growing ServiceNow practice in Sweden. In this role, you will work closely with clients to gather requirements, design scalable ServiceNow solutions, and lead the implementation of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, integrations, and platform enhancements.
We are looking for a consultant who combines strong technical expertise with consulting and stakeholder management skills, and who can independently drive solution design and delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and engage with business and technical stakeholders.
- Design and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping capabilities.
- Design and develop integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Implement and support e-bonding solutions with third-party platforms.
- Develop custom solutions using ServiceNow scripting and automation capabilities.
- Perform platform administration, configuration, and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and customer teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Support pre-sales activities, solutioning, and effort estimation when required.

- Strong hands-on experience with:
- CMDB
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- ServiceNow platform administration
- Requirement gathering and solution design
- Proven experience with:
- ServiceNow integrations
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, etc.)
- E-bonding implementations
- Ability to work independently and drive activities with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments
- Exposure to ServiceNow ITOM and broader platform capabilities
- Experience working in Nordic region
Required Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Data Foundation
Nice to have Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Additional ServiceNow CIS certifications
Nice to Have
- Experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM)
Language Requirements
- Fluent English (written and spoken) – mandatory
- Ability to speak a Nordic language is highly desirable, particularly:
- Swedish or
- Norwegian
