Technology Architect

Job Summary

This hybrid Technology Architect role focuses on designing and optimizing integration solutions using Boomi B2B Dell Boomi AtomSphere Dell Boomi API management Rest API and SOAP for global manufacturing and supply chain clients. The architect will translate complex business needs into scalable digital integration patterns that enhance operational resilience and deliver measurable business outcomes while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable integration architectures using Dell Boomi AtomSphere that align with enterprise standards and enable reliable data exchange across critical business applications in manufacturing and supply chain contexts.
• Develop robust Boomi B2B processes that support secure partner onboarding transaction monitoring and error handling to ensure uninterrupted information flow between organizations.
• Configure and optimize Dell Boomi API management assets to expose secure and well governed Rest API and SOAP services that support internal and external digital channels.
• Implement integration patterns using Rest API and SOAP services that improve system interoperability reduce manual work and support near real time decision making for business stakeholders.
• Conduct detailed solution assessments to evaluate performance scalability and resilience of existing integrations and recommend enhancements that reduce latency and failure rates.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including business analysts developers and operations specialists to translate functional requirements into high quality technical designs.
• Create detailed technical design documents integration maps and interface specifications that provide clear guidance for development and maintenance teams.
• Oversee integration lifecycle activities including configuration unit testing system testing and deployment to ensure that all solutions meet agreed quality and compliance standards.
• Establish monitoring practices for Boomi integrations and API endpoints using available tools to proactively detect issues and support timely incident resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing incident trends identifying root causes and implementing targeted enhancements that improve platform stability and user satisfaction.
• Guide teams on Boomi development standards naming conventions and reusable components to promote consistency and reduce delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with security and compliance teams to ensure that all integration solutions follow organizational policies data protection guidelines and audit requirements.
• Communicate solution options trade offs and risks in a clear and structured manner to stakeholders while aligning integration roadmaps with broader enterprise technology strategies.

Qualifications

• Exhibit strong experience in designing and implementing solutions on Dell Boomi AtomSphere with hands on exposure to complex cloud and hybrid integration landscapes.
• Demonstrate practical expertise in Boomi B2B implementations including partner onboarding document transformations and transaction monitoring for enterprise scale environments.
• Apply advanced skills in Dell Boomi API management to design secure scalable and reusable Rest API and SOAP based services that support diverse integration scenarios.
• Use deep understanding of Rest API standards authentication mechanisms and error handling practices to build reliable and maintainable service interfaces.
• Employ solid experience with SOAP based web services including WSDL schemas and message validation to ensure compatibility with legacy and modern systems.
• Draw upon knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations to design integrations that optimize order management inventory visibility and logistics coordination.
• Adapt quickly to evolving enterprise integration trends cloud platforms and middleware tools while continuously enhancing technical and architectural capabilities.
• Utilize strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide sustainable fixes that improve long term system health.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders to capture requirements explain solution designs and support smooth change adoption.
• Balance multiple projects and priorities in a hybrid work model while maintaining high standards of documentation code quality and delivery discipline.
• Show commitment to secure development practices data privacy and compliance by following organizational guidelines and industry best practices.
• Engage in knowledge sharing mentoring and collaborative practices that strengthen the integration competency within the organization and contribute to broader community growth.

Certifications Required

Dell Boomi Professional Architect Certification or Dell Boomi Professional Developer Certification preferred
