About the role:
As a Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will make an impact by leading and governing large-scale Managed Security Services (MSS) programs across multiple cybersecurity domains. You will be a valued member of the cybersecurity leadership team and work collaboratively with client executives, business stakeholders, and global delivery teams to ensure successful program outcomes, risk mitigation, and service excellence.
In this role, you will:
Lead end-to-end governance of enterprise Managed Security Services programs, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments, SLAs, KPIs, and business objectives
Establish and manage governance forums, including steering committees and operational reviews, to drive accountability and performance
Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, and program communications for senior leadership and client stakeholders
Own and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies through structured RAID frameworks, driving mitigation and resolution
Act as the primary interface for client leadership, building strong relationships across cybersecurity, technology, audit, and compliance teams

What you need to have to be considered:
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, program management, or service delivery leadership
Proven experience managing enterprise Managed Security Services (MSS) programs
Strong expertise across key cybersecurity domains: Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Operations (SOC), Endpoint Security, Network Security, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Vulnerability Management (VM)
Demonstrated experience managing executive stakeholders and client-facing engagements
Hands-on experience with governance frameworks, including RAID logs, risk registers, action tracking, and program reporting
These will help you stand out:
Industry certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
Experience managing large-scale or multi-million-dollar cybersecurity programs
Exposure to global delivery models and outsourced security providers
Knowledge of leading frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 160,000 - $ 185,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
