About the role
As a Senior Healthcare QA Test Lead – Facets Claims, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing initiatives for healthcare payer systems, ensuring accurate claims processing, billing validation, and high-quality software delivery. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with clients, business SMEs, project teams, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Lead end-to-end Facets Claims and Parallel Testing initiatives across healthcare payer projects.
Define test strategies, test plans, execution approaches, and quality governance processes.
Manage testing teams, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and delivery oversight.
Oversee claims adjudication validation, billing validation, defect management, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with clients, business SMEs, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project status, risks, quality metrics, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Drive continuous process improvements and support UAT, release, and production validation activities.

What you need to have to be considered
10+ years of strong experience leading testing efforts for Facets Claims Processing applications.
Deep knowledge of the Healthcare Payer domain and claims adjudication processes.
Hands-on experience with Parallel Testing, claims validation, and defect management.
Strong understanding of healthcare benefits, fee schedules, billing, and dental claims.
Advanced SQL skills for backend testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
Experience in test planning, execution, reporting, and quality governance.
Proven ability to lead testing teams and manage project deliveries.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
These will help you stand out
Experience supporting large-scale healthcare payer transformation, migration, or modernization programs.
Knowledge of healthcare enrollment, provider, or membership systems.
Experience working directly with client leadership and business stakeholders.
Exposure to release management and production support activities.
Experience driving test process improvements and quality metrics reporting.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
