Job Summary

Serve as a functional architect specializing in S4 HANA Order to Cash capabilities to design and optimize end to end sales processes for a global organization. Apply deep expertise in pricing configuration variant management serial number handling and logistics execution to deliver scalable solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency while collaborating across hybrid teams.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive S4 HANA Order to Cash process architectures that align with enterprise goals and ensure seamless integration across sales logistics and finance functions to support high volume global operations
• Configure and optimize S4 HANA OTC Basic Info System to streamline master data usage improve information consistency and enable accurate downstream processing for quoting ordering and billing activities
• Implement and refine S4 HANA Advance Pricing solutions to support complex pricing scenarios discounts surcharges and conditional logic that enhance margin control and commercial flexibility across diverse markets
• Configure S4 HANA Advance Order to Cash capabilities to improve order capture fulfillment and invoicing cycles while reducing manual intervention and supporting reliable sales order execution
• Design and maintain S4 HANA SD Variant Configuration models that enable configurable products and services ensuring accurate pricing availability and fulfillment while improving customer choice and sales efficiency
• Establish robust S4 HANA Serial Number Management processes that ensure precise tracking of serialized items from order through delivery and service enabling regulatory compliance and improved after sales support
• Configure S4 HANA Sales BOM structures to support bundling and component based sales scenarios ensuring accurate demand visibility inventory allocation and billing consistency for complex offerings
• Optimize S4HANA Basic Logistic Execute processes to align order fulfillment warehouse activities and transport planning so that cycle times are reduced and on time delivery performance is improved
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders in a hybrid work model to gather requirements validate business scenarios and translate them into detailed functional designs and configuration documents that guide project delivery
• Provide expert guidance during system testing defect triage and cutover planning to secure stable deployments and minimize disruption to business operations while ensuring adoption of new S4 HANA capabilities
• Analyze operational data and process performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements that increase automation accuracy and responsiveness in the sales and logistics value chain
• Support user enablement by preparing detailed process documentation conducting functional walkthroughs and mentoring key users so that new solutions are effectively used and aligned with organization standards
• Contribute to the organizations sustainability and societal impact goals by designing processes that reduce waste improve resource utilization and enable transparent reporting on commercial and logistics activities

Qualifications

• Demonstrate between ten and fourteen years of progressive experience as a functional architect or consultant in large scale enterprise environments with a strong focus on S4 HANA sales and logistics processes
• Possess deep hands on expertise in S4 HANA OTC Basic Info System S4 HANA Advance Pricing S4 HANA Advance Order to Cash S4 HANA SD Variant Configuration S4 HANA Serial Number Management S4 HANA Sales BOM and S4HANA Basic Logistic Execute modules
• Apply strong skills in translating complex business scenarios into clear functional designs and configuration approaches ensuring solutions are scalable maintainable and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Exhibit solid knowledge of end to end integration between S4 HANA sales logistics and financial accounting so that data consistency and process continuity are preserved across all touchpoints
• Utilize any exposure to OMICS pipeline development to interpret scientific or data intensive business workflows and reflect those needs in flexible order to cash and logistics process designs when relevant
• Use experience in OMICS data analysis or similar analytical domains to validate data structures reporting needs and performance indicators that support evidence based decision making and continuous improvement
