About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service Developer to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing scalable AEM solutions, implementing cloud-native best practices, and integrating AEM with enterprise applications.
In This Role, You Will
- Develop and maintain custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services using HTL, Java, Sling Models, and OSGi.
- Build responsive and accessible user experiences leveraging AEM Core Components, modern front-end frameworks, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and headless content models to support omnichannel content delivery.
- Implement integrations between AEM and enterprise systems using REST APIs, GraphQL, Adobe I/O, and other integration frameworks.
- Configure and support AEM as a Cloud Service environments, including Cloud Manager deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with UX designers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AEM solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security guidelines, and cloud-native best practices.
- Support AEM migration and modernization initiatives, including upgrades from AEM 6.5 and Adobe Managed Services environments to AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to authoring, publishing, content replication, caching, workflows, and deployment pipelines.
- Optimize AEM performance, component reusability, and content authoring experiences.
- Work closely with DevOps and platform teams to automate deployments and improve operational efficiency.
- Support production releases, platform maintenance, and incident resolution activities.
- Document technical designs, integration approaches, and development standards to support ongoing platform evolution.
Work Model

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- 5+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager development experience.
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Expertise developing AEM components, templates, workflows, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Sling Models, OSGi Services, Servlets, JCR, and Apache Sling.
- Experience with HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
- Experience implementing RESTful API integrations and enterprise application connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment automation.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting AEM author, publish, and dispatcher environments.
- Understanding of AEM security, caching strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AEM Headless CMS implementations and GraphQL.
- Experience with Adobe I/O Runtime and Event Framework.
- Experience with SPA Editor, Universal Editor, or Edge Delivery Services.
- Experience migrating applications to AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Experience integrating AEM with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or Adobe Experience Platform.
- Exposure to insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
- Experience working in cloud-native environments and DevOps-driven organizations.
