.NET Backend Developer
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern .NET technologies, microservices architecture, and relational databases, while demonstrating strong software engineering principles and the ability to mentor other developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain resilient, distributed backend services using .NET 6/7/8 and C#.
Create scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions following SOLID principles, clean architecture, and industry best practices.
Implement and optimize asynchronous programming patterns using async/await.
Leverage Dependency Injection (DI), configuration management, and structured logging frameworks to build robust applications.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and provide technical mentorship to development team members.
Design and develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.
Implement middleware, filters, model binding, validation, API versioning, and API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Develop and maintain background processing solutions using Hosted Services and background job frameworks.
Implement real-time communication features using SignalR.
Design and implement effective rate limiting, throttling, and security mechanisms to ensure application reliability and performance.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
Required Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET 6/7/8.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, backend architecture, and software engineering best practices.
Proven expertise in:
Async programming (async/await)
Dependency Injection (DI)
Application configuration management
Logging and monitoring
SOLID design principles
Extensive experience with ASP.NET Core, including:
Web API development
Middleware development
Filters and model binding
Validation frameworks
API versioning
OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
Experience implementing:
Background jobs and Hosted Services
SignalR-based real-time applications
Rate limiting and throttling strategies
Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with:
Database schema design
Data modeling
Indexing strategies
Query optimization and performance tuning
Solid understanding of ORM frameworks, preferably Entity Framework Core (EF Core).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
