Job Summary

We are looking for a Health Business Analyst with strong experience in healthcare and medical domains. The candidate will work closely with business teams and technical teams to understand requirements, improve processes, and deliver high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business needs from healthcare stakeholders (providers, payers, or pharma).
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Work with SMEs, clients, and project teams to define functional solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Support testing activities such as UAT and ensure the solution meets business needs.
  • Analyze healthcare workflows and suggest process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA or similar).
  • Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in the healthcare domain (payer, provider, or life sciences).
  • Good knowledge of healthcare processes such as claims, billing, EHR/EMR, or patient data.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, JIRA, or Confluence.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile or Waterfall environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working as an SME (Subject Matter Expert).
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.).
  • Experience with data analysis or reporting tools.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000- $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
