Job Summary
We are looking for a Health Business Analyst with strong experience in healthcare and medical domains. The candidate will work closely with business teams and technical teams to understand requirements, improve processes, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business needs from healthcare stakeholders (providers, payers, or pharma).
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Work with SMEs, clients, and project teams to define functional solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Support testing activities such as UAT and ensure the solution meets business needs.
- Analyze healthcare workflows and suggest process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA or similar).
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in the healthcare domain (payer, provider, or life sciences).
- Good knowledge of healthcare processes such as claims, billing, EHR/EMR, or patient data.
- Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, JIRA, or Confluence.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile or Waterfall environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working as an SME (Subject Matter Expert).
- Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.).
- Experience with data analysis or reporting tools.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000- $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
