Azure Architect – Landing Zone
Experience: 10+ years
Location: Remote Opportunity based anywhere in Canada. Must be eligible to work in the country

Seeking a hands-on Azure Architect to design, build, and deploy Azure Landing Zones (ALZ) and architect workloads on top. This is a build-focused role owning both platform foundation and workload deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy Azure Landing Zone using Terraform/Bicep
- Set up Management Groups, Azure Policy & governance
- Design Hub-Spoke / VWAN networking & Azure Firewall
- Implement Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, security controls
- Configure Monitoring (Log Analytics, Defender, Sentinel)
- Architect workloads using AKS, App Services, Functions
- Implement Private Endpoints, DNS, CI/CD pipelines
- Perform Well-Architected reviews & documentation
Required Skills
- Strong ALZ implementation experience (hands-on)
- Terraform/Bicep (mandatory)
- Azure Networking (VWAN, Hub-Spoke, Firewall)
- Azure DevOps / CI-CD
- Security & Identity (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Azure Cloud/Infrastructure
- Certifications: AZ-104 / AZ-305 preferred
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
Compensation: we are offering an annual salary between $80,550-$125,000
