About the role
As an End User and Field Services Manager, you will make an impact by leading large-scale, multi-geography end user and field services teams, ensuring seamless delivery of collaboration, desktop, mobile, and field support services. This role blends strategic leadership with operational excellence, driving transformation initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency, and end-user satisfaction. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team, working closely with developers, cloud engineers, and service management professionals.
In this role, you will:
• Lead large-scale, multi-geography end user and field services teams, overseeing collaboration services, Desktop/Laptop management, remote support, Mobile device support, field service dispatch, and tracking.
• Act as a subject matter expert across all aspects of end user computing and field services, providing guidance and direction to team members and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to deliver executive-level visibility into KPIs and SLA compliance status.
• Provide thought leadership for transformation and improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to drive productivity and efficiency gains across the function.
• Apply deep knowledge of ITSM processes, particularly Incident, Change, and Problem Management, to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Drive triage calls and handle escalations effectively, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for day-to-day work activities, ensuring consistency and operational readiness.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in all interactions with team members, clients, and executive leadership.
Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Parsippany, NJ. What you need to have to be considered:
• 10+ years of experience leading large-scale, multi-geography end user and field services teams.
• 5 or more years supporting end user devices including Laptops, Desktops, and Mobile devices, across device lifecycle management and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting collaborative platforms such as Microsoft Teams and O365, enabling end users and driving adoption across the enterprise.
• Hands-on experience with VDI and Printer support, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting in complex, multi-site environments.
• Expert-level team leadership and governance skills, with a proven track record of building, mentoring, and developing high-performing IT service delivery teams.
• Strong ITSM knowledge across Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
• Proven ability to drive triage calls, manage escalations effectively, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Experience in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures for IT service delivery functions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical performance data into clear, executive-ready insights.
These will help you stand out:
• Experience leading transformation programs that have delivered measurable improvements in end-user productivity and service efficiency.
• Familiarity with enterprise mobility management (EMM/MDM) platforms and modern workplace tooling.
• ITIL certification or equivalent formal ITSM training.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
