Service Line Sales Specialist - IoT & Engineering Services
We are looking for a consultative problem-solver with deep IoT and Engineering expertise to lead sales & business development for a select portfolio of accounts within our IoT and Engineering Services Practice.
Expertise in one or more of these key domains: Industrial and Process Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics, MOM/MES/WES, Asset Performance Management, Digital Thread, PLM, Product Engineering, Physical AI and ER&D.

Service Line Sales Specialist
The Service Line Sales Specialist will drive growth through consultative selling of AI-led transformation solutions, with emphasis on Physical AI, intelligent automation, industrial AI, digital twins, robotics, IoT, edge computing and data-driven operations across manufacturing, logistics, energy, healthcare, retail and technology clients.
Candidates must demonstrate ecosystem-led selling with partners such as Microsoft, AWS, NVIDIA, Siemens, PTC, Databricks, AVEVA and SAP; build outcome-based business cases; identify emerging opportunities; and position Cognizant around autonomous operations, AI-native enterprises and next-generation digital engineering.
Some of your tasks may include
· Build the growth strategy and pipeline plan for offerings across the key domains
· Own sales, business development and the end-to-end sales process, achieving annual revenue and booking targets
· Manage the account plan with the client partner, strengthening existing and building new strategic relationships
· Lead proactive proposals and RFPs aligned to account strategy
· Partner with internal leaders and Delivery Teams to shape solutions and validate cost and scope
· Collaborate with industry vertical teams and build long-term executive relationships in a matrixed organization
We would like you to have the following experience
· Proven business growth/sales track record in one or more industry verticals: Manufacturing/ Transportation/ Logistics / Comms Media / Education / Technology
· Ability to influence stakeholders up to the C-Suite, with strong communication and executive presentation skills
· Strong technical skills and consultative selling ability
· Knowledge of IoT and engineering industry trends and customer pain points; consulting experience and thought leadership are highly desirable

· Outcome-based consulting and business case development
· Large deal pursuit and transformation program leadership
· Commercial modelling and growth strategy
· Innovation workshops and cross-functional orchestration across consulting, engineering, cloud and operations
