Senior .NET Engineer
Job Summary
Serve as a senior software engineer contributing deep expertise in .NET, .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, and Azure to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade payer domain solutions. Work in a hybrid model, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable applications that improve healthcare outcomes while ensuring high quality standards and robust performance.
Responsibilities
- Application Design: Build robust components using .NET and .NET Framework for scalable payer workflows.
- C# Development: Write high-quality, testable, and reliable code implementing complex business rules.
- SQL Server Optimization: Create and tune tables, views, and stored procedures for large-scale payer data.
- Data Security: Implement secure access patterns and validation to protect sensitive information.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product owners, analysts, and QA engineers to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
- Azure Architecture: Design and deploy cloud-based services to enhance resilience and scalability.
- Code Reviews: Provide constructive feedback to maintain standards and reduce defects.
- Incident Analysis: Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Documentation: Produce clear technical designs and data flow documentation for distributed teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate progress, risks, and priorities during sprint ceremonies.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers in .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Azure practices.
Qualifications
- 14+ years of hands-on experience with .NET, .NET Framework, and C# in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and query tuning for high-volume transactional and analytical workloads.
- Proven experience delivering solutions in the payer domain (claims, member data, billing).
- Solid exposure to Azure services for hosting, storage, and monitoring in hybrid deployments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working in hybrid models with global teams using modern collaboration tools.
Salary Range
$100,000 – $140,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
