ABOUT THE ROLE
The hands-on builder of the AI-augmented enterprise, operating in a 1 to 3 person Frontier pod. Applies agentic AI, prompt engineering and AI-driven delivery to build, ship and operate AI-native systems end to end, spanning software, infrastructure, data, quality and operations. Specifies intent for AI coding agents, validates and integrates their output, orchestrates agent pipelines, and stands behind what the pod builds in production. A full-stack generalist who reaches for an AI tool first. The pod is accountable for a measured customer outcome, not just working code: the Frontier Engineer validates AI outputs in the domain context and owns what is built, permanently, in production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Orchestrate multi-agent coding pipelines and integrate agent outputs into production environments.
· Specify intent prompts for AI coding agents; review and validate AI-generated code for quality and correctness.
· Design and build RAG pipelines, vector stores and knowledge bases so agents are grounded and accurate.
· Deploy and operate LLMs and agents in production; monitor drift and implement safety guardrails.
· Build AI-embedded workflows and applications using enterprise AI builders and automation platforms.
· Automate L1/L2 operations using AIOps tooling and intelligent incident routing.
WHAT YOU BRING
Core skills: Agentic coding & multi-agent orchestration (LangChain/AutoGen/LangGraph), Prompt & intent engineering, AI-generated code validation, RAG pipeline design, Vector database management, LLMOps & model lifecycle management, Guardrail implementation, AIOps & observability, CI/CD for AI systems.
Competencies: Agentic Engineering & Orchestration, Context & Retrieval Engineering, Production AI Operations (LLMOps), AI Code Quality & Validation, Full-Stack AI Delivery, Domain Fluency & Contextual Judgment, Business-Outcome Orientation.
ENTRY AND GROWTH
Experience: 3-10 yrs technical delivery with strong AI-tool fluency.
Entry: Pass the Frontier CoE assessment (full-stack delivery: Dev, Infra, Cloud, Production, Domain + AI foundations); complete the 4-week build bootcamp (ship a working application in a lean pod).
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Builds, ships and permanently owns AI-native systems end to end in a small Frontier pod, and is measured on the customer outcome the pod commits to, not on technical throughput alone.
