Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety. The candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on developing and implementing software solutions that enhance vehicle safety. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive safety standards and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement software solutions that adhere to automotive functional safety standards ensuring the highest level of vehicle safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test software components that meet safety and performance requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret safety requirements to ensure software solutions are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise in the development of safety-critical software ensuring robust and reliable performance.
  • Oversee the integration of software components into larger automotive systems ensuring seamless operation and safety compliance.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of software solutions to identify and resolve any safety-related issues.
  • Document software development processes and safety compliance measures to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure software quality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive functional safety and incorporate best practices into software development processes.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of software solutions that meet safety and performance goals.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in understanding and applying automotive functional safety principles.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes to enhance efficiency and safety compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any safety-related concerns.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of automotive functional safety standards and their application in software development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software development languages and tools relevant to automotive safety.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex safety requirements.
  • Show experience in working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Have a track record of successfully developing and implementing safety-critical software in the automotive industry.
  • Display strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Be committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.

    ISO 26262 Certification Certified Automotive Software Engineer
