Incident Response Specialist - Waze. (Sao Paulo, BR)

The Crisis Agent serves as a key liaison between users, community partners, and the Waze platform to ensure map accuracy and real-time data integrity. This includes monitoring and updating the map during major events, identifying road closures, and establishing duration estimates. The agent also drives proactive sourcing by researching prospective closures and disruptions using advanced search methodologies, including Google Search and other verification tools.

In this role, you will:

• Monitor and update real-time road closures, incident reports, and event impacts to ensure map accuracy.
• Review and verify event specifications, road closure timings, and operational impacts before and during activations.
• Conduct targeted web searches using Google Search and reliable sources to anticipate and identify unscheduled or upcoming road closures.
• Actively participate in global team syncs and cross-regional alignments to share operational insights.
• Keep operational trackers, event calendars, and shift priorities organized and current.

What you need to have:

• Advanced or fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong research and information-retrieval skills.
• Solid proficiency in Google Sheets / Google Workspace for tracking and operational reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• High degree of self-motivation and proactivity, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across remote, multi-site teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with global teams.
