Item / Image Processing: Implementation Card & Payments

Role Overview – Common -

  • Client-facing role requiring strong communication, requirements gathering, and independent solutioning ability
  • Own and run small-scope projects end-to-end as both Project Manager and Technical Analyst
  • Must work US business hours; after-hours and weekend support required for newly implemented clients for a minimum of 2 weeks post go-live

Functional & Domain

  • Strong financial industry and items processing domain knowledge across banking and payments
  • Merchant and mobile distributed capture workflows — understanding of end-to-end deposit lifecycle
  • ATM image deposit knowledge including capture, balancing, and exception handling
  • Image Cash Letter (ICL) processing; Duplicate Detection configuration and management
  • Familiarity with teller and distributed capture environments within banking institutions

Lead – Senior Roles

  • Excellent merchant and mobile distributed capture domain knowledge across banking environments
  • Deep understanding of teller and distributed capture workflows and deposit lifecycle management
  • Item processing knowledge across capture channels — merchant, mobile, teller, and ATM
  • Deposit settlement, balancing, and exception handling across distributed capture platforms
  • Familiarity with banking ERP, check clearing, and remittance processing environments

Soft Skills ( Mandatory for all roles)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong training and documentation skills
  • Ability to review client requirements and relay to appropriate technical resources where needed
  • Manage client expectations, scope, and escalations through go-live and stabilization phases
  • Lead client calls, training sessions, and on-site go-live and hyper care support

Print & Mail:

Job Role:

  • Experienced implementation role involving responsibility for leading larger-scale projects or programs and providing mentorship and subject-matter expertise

Banking experience is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle

Key responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, identify potential escalations, and alert management; analyze data, identify patterns or risks, and apply innovative thinking to solve problems
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the industry that goes beyond mere competence with FIS systems
  • Communicate detailed insights and implementation direction to the organization
  • Provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience; lead FIS client calls during US work hours, EST time zone
  • Independently manage projects demonstrating a high level of autonomy and judgment, often bringing structure to high degrees of ambiguity
  • Manages complex tasks, improves processes, mentor juniors, contributes to design decisions
