Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure and efficient microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support scalable business applications
  • Develop robust backend components that integrate with SQL Server to handle complex transactional and analytical workloads
  • Optimize database queries and schema structures in SQL Server to improve application performance and reliability
  • Implement clean code practices and reusable components in Java 8 and Java 17 to ensure maintainable and extensible services
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Create and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure microservices are stable reliable and regression free
  • Participate in code reviews to improve code quality share knowledge and align with enterprise development standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes
  • Implement secure communication and configuration patterns for microservices to protect sensitive data and comply with company policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to development workflows and automation practices
  • Document technical designs service contracts and deployment steps to support efficient onboarding and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with operations and support teams to enable smooth deployments in a hybrid environment and reduce downtime
  • Align daily engineering activities with the company purpose by delivering reliable features that improve customer experiences and business outcomes


Qualifications

  • Possess professional experience working with Java 8 and Java 17 for developing backend services in an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrate hands on experience with Spring Boot for building and configuring modular microservices based solutions
  • Show strong proficiency in SQL Server including query optimization indexing strategies and data modeling concepts
  • Apply knowledge of microservices patterns such as service decomposition resilience and observability in practical projects
  • Exhibit familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development practices suitable for hybrid work models
  • Display understanding of secure coding standards and basic authentication and authorization techniques in distributed systems
  • Bring experience with unit testing frameworks and build tools to support continuous integration and high code quality
