Job Description: Systems Engineer – Desktop Support
Location: Krakow,
Work Model: 100% Onsite
Please note that the role will be aligned to a weekly rotational shift schedule. The rotation will include the following shifts:
- Morning Shift
- Afternoon/ Evening Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer with serval years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality desktop support within a hybrid work environment, operating on rotational shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for optimizing IT infrastructure. No travel is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end desktop support to ensure smooth IT operations across hybrid setups
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to maintain system reliability
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement updates, patches, and system enhancements
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for user experience
- Deploy and configure new software and hardware with attention to compatibility
- Maintain detailed documentation of technical procedures and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with users to understand and address technical needs
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all support activities
- Participate in rotational shifts to support users across multiple time zones
- Use remote support tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
- Contribute to IT strategy development aligned with organizational goals
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and effective support to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Stay current with emerging desktop support technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of desktop support technologies and methodologies
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in hybrid environments and collaborating across teams
- Proficiency with remote support tools and techniques
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Information Technology or related field
Certifications Required
- ITIL Certification (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
