Product Owner – Salesforce Product Delivery Teams
Role Overview
The Salesforce Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by Salesforce platforms (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud). The role partners closely with business stakeholders and Salesforce delivery teams to translate business needs into prioritized, high‑quality Salesforce solutions that are scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities (Salesforce‑Specific)
Product & Backlog Ownership
- Own and prioritize the Salesforce product backlog across features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt
- Translate business needs into Salesforce‑ready user stories (configuration vs. custom build clarity)
- Define clear acceptance criteria aligned to Salesforce capabilities and limitations
- Balance quick wins with long‑term platform health and scalability
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Act as the primary liaison between business teams (Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations) and Salesforce delivery teams
- Facilitate requirement workshops and backlog refinement sessions
- Manage trade‑offs across competing business priorities and Salesforce constraints
- Ensure alignment with enterprise CRM, data, and integration strategies
Agile Salesforce Delivery
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and demos
- Provide real‑time clarification during development and testing
- Review and accept completed Salesforce work based on acceptance criteria
- Support release planning aligned to Salesforce deployment schedules and change management processes
Platform & Governance Alignment
- Partner with Salesforce Architects to ensure solutions align to:
- Salesforce best practices
- Security and compliance requirements
- Data model and integration standards
- Help prioritize technical enablers (e.g., refactoring, performance, automation hygiene)
- Support org health, maintainability, and upgrade readiness
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce capability deliver
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools
- Experience working in regulated or large‑scale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and data platforms
Location : Chennai
Notice Period : Immediate to 60 days
