Solution & Technology Architect
Purpose: -
• Lead the solution architecture for the Guest Value Programme, enabling a unified Guest / Customer Golden Record capability across the airline.
• Design scalable architectures that integrate customer data, operational events, and digital touchpoints to drive personalised guest engagement and revenue growth.
• Enable real-time decisioning and personalization through event-driven architectures and modern data platforms.
• Ensure alignment with the enterprise data, AI, and integration strategy, supporting other transformation programmes at play.
• Act as the architecture bridge between business, delivery teams, and technology platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Accountabilities
• Design the end-to-end architecture supporting the Guest Value platform, including customer data ingestion, identity resolution, profile stitching, and personalisation activation.
• Define and govern the Customer Golden Record architecture, ensuring accurate and trusted guest profiles across all systems.
• Architect real-time event-driven data pipelines integrating systems such as reservation systems, loyalty platforms, digital channels, and operational systems.
• Design integration patterns using streaming platforms, APIs, and microservices to support real-time triggers and journey orchestration.
• Ensure effective integration between Customer Data Platforms (CDP), experience platforms, analytics platforms, and enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with respective teams to ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and guide implementation of vendor platforms and technologies, ensuring they align with enterprise architecture principles.
• Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams, product managers, and developers, supporting agile delivery and design reviews.
• Contribute to architecture documentation including solution intents, integration patterns, and architecture roadmaps.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with digital, marketing, loyalty, and operational teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8–12+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Proven experience designing data-driven and event-driven architectures in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience working with customer data platforms, digital engagement platforms, or customer experience technologies.
• Strong knowledge of API architectures, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Experience with modern data platforms, streaming architectures, and cloud technologies (preferably Azure).
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka / Event Hub, Databricks, Customer Data Platforms, and digital experience platforms is highly desirable.
• Experience working within Agile / SAFe delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and leadership stakeholders.
• Experience in the airline, travel, loyalty, or digital commerce domains is advantageous.
