The Segment Lead (d/f/m) at Cognizant is accountable for end-to-end delivery leadership for one or more strategic Automotive & Mobility clients across EMEA. This role requires extensive service delivery skills in managing technologies under Digital WorkPlace and End User Computing, SLA performance management, governance reporting, client satisfaction, financial performance (P&L), and people leadership, while strengthening Cognizant’s position as a strategic transformation leader.
The role requires strong alignment with Cognizant’s Digital Operations, Industry Solutions, and Global Delivery Model, driving scale, innovation, and operational rigor across complex, multi-country engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Full accountability for multi-service delivery (digital, cloud, data, ERP, managed services) across EMEA, ensuring SLA/KPI adherence, governance, risk management, and continuous improvement through standardization and automation.
  • Executive Client Leadership: Act as the senior delivery partner for CXO stakeholders, leading executive governance, QBRs, and steering committees while driving high CSAT/NPS and proactive risk management.
  • P&L and Commercial Responsibility: Own cluster P&L including revenue, margin, cost optimization, forecasting, renewals, scope changes, and large deal transitions; drive margin improvement and account growth through cross-service opportunities.
  • People & Leadership Excellence: Lead and develop senior delivery leadership teams, build succession pipelines, and drive Cognizant’s talent agenda while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.
  • Transformation & Innovation: Partner with clients on IT modernization and digital transformation, driving adoption of cloud, AI/GenAI, data platforms, DevOps, automation, and leveraging Automotive & Mobility IPs and accelerators.
  • Consulting & Ecosystem Collaboration: Work closely with Client Partners, Sales, Consulting, Engineering, and Industry teams to deliver differentiated, value-led solutions.
  • Compliance, Risk & Quality: Ensure adherence to quality frameworks, information security, data privacy, regulatory and automotive industry standards, including audit readiness and business continuity.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven senior delivery leader with strong executive presence and experience managing large, complex, multi-country automotive accounts
  • Strong business and financial acumen with hands-on P&L ownership
  • Deep understanding of global IT service delivery and Automotive/Mobility IT landscapes (Digital, Cloud, Data, GenAI)
  • 15+ years IT experience, including 10+ years in senior delivery leadership roles within large IT services organizations
