About the role

As a HRSS Team Leader you will make an impact by supporting the end-to end HR process from hire to exit. Oversee and lead HRSS function in Poland, Lithuania and Bulgaria. You will work closely with various stakeholders such as HR, Recruitment, Offshore Towers, Payroll, business leads, employees and will report to HRSS Regional Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and lead the HRSS Team in the given countries, inc. people management, weekly meetings, 1-1s, performance evaluation, oversee the operation, etc.
  • Strong daily cooperation with Offshore (Towers) Team, HRBPs, Recruitment Team, Immigration Team and other business functions within the organization
  • Managing, overseeing & coordinating activities and transactions of the HRSS Team
  • Reviewing, improving and managing HRSS processes
  • Reporting regularly to the HRSS Senior Manager with metrics data
  • Strong hands-on support and contribution to local- and regional projects
  • Leading audits and related activities
  • Be a POC for escalations and manage inquiries properly
  • Report issues (inc. escalations) and challenges to his/her direct supervisor and keep strong cooperation
  • Maintain agreed SLA on all processes
  • Maintain the required trackers and manage the efforts efficiently
  • Initiative improvement ideas

· Efficiently handle HR operations processing in timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring min. 2-3 days a week in a Cognizant office in Gdansk. What you need to have to be considered

· College or University degree

· Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Polish

· Local labour law and regulations knowledge and experience

· 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a multinational company

· Ability to work in a matrix complex organisation

· MS Office and ERP system knowledge (HCM, Service Now, People Soft)

· Additional language knowledge is an advantage

· Excellent tasks, projects and people management skills
