About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Eng (.NET / Angular) 5+ years of experience in ASP.NET Core Web API SQL .Net Core Angular 2 - 8 and Node JS along with domain expertise in Payments. The role involves designing developing and optimizing solutions in a hybrid work model with a focus on day shifts.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop scalable and secure applications using ASP.NET Core Web API and .Net Core to meet business requirements in the Payments domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for efficient implementation.
- Optimize database structures and queries using SQL to ensure high performance and reliability of applications.
- Implement front-end solutions using Angular 2
- 8 to deliver responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop server-side logic using Node JS to enhance application functionality and integration capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in the Payments domain to maintain security and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development and collaboration.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the Payments domain to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives and user needs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning retrospectives and daily stand-ups for efficient project execution.
- Document technical designs processes and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain project transparency.
What you need to have to be considered
- Possess strong expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API SQL .Net Core Angular 2
- 8 and Node JS with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Payments domain including industry standards compliance and security practices.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Showcase strong communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Have experience in Agile methodologies and the ability to contribute to efficient project execution.
- Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and trends.
Work model

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $72,000 – $82,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
