IWA Onsite Lead Administrator

In this role, below are the major R&R for the technical scope of activities.
1. Provide end-to-end Administration support for IBM Workload Automation (IWA/TWS) environments, ensuring stable, reliable, and uninterrupted batch processing operations.
2. Act as the primary IWA lead during US business hours, taking ownership of incident management, service requests, escalations, and critical production support activities.
3. Perform hands-on administration and configuration of IWA/TWS components, including jobs, job streams, calendars, dependencies, event rules, workstations, and workload scheduling processes.
4. Monitor workload execution, troubleshoot job failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions to improve platform stability and service quality.
5. Collaborate with McDonald's IWA leads, application owners, and business stakeholders to understand pain points, provide technical recommendations, and drive continuous service improvements.
6. Lead resolution of major incidents (P1/P2) and coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, middleware, and vendor teams to ensure timely recovery and communication.
7. Drive proactive governance and stakeholder engagement through operational reviews, service metrics, improvement roadmaps, enhancement backlogs, and regular status communications.
8. Identify and implement continuous improvement, automation, and optimization opportunities while partnering with architects and SMEs to enhance IWA platform performance, reliability, and stakeholder confidence.
The Salary for this position will be 114,000 and 130000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
