Technical Lead SharePoint/.NET Application Support leads complex development and application maintenance activities for SharePoint and Microsoft technology solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering, L2/L3 production support, technical mentoring, and ownership of critical incidents, service requests, change requests, and problem requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- SOLUTION DELIVERY & TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP
• Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation using SharePoint, ASP.NET, ASP, SQL Server, and SQL.
• Develop secure, scalable SharePoint portals, workflows, document management, and collaboration solutions.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, coding standards, design reviews, and code-quality governance.
• Optimize application and database performance through query tuning, indexing, and design improvements.
• Coordinate testing, releases, deployments, documentation, and knowledge transfer with stakeholders. - APPLICATION MAINTENANCE & SUPPORT
• Provide end-to-end application maintenance and production support for SharePoint, ASP.NET, ASP related applications.
• Handle incidents through triage, diagnosis, recovery, resolution, closure, RCA, and stakeholder communication.
• Fulfil service requests through assessment, prioritization, tracking, implementation, and timely closure.
• Manage change requests covering impact assessment, estimation, approvals, testing, deployment, and validation.
• Drive problem requests through trend analysis, root-cause identification, known-error management, and permanent fixes. - Operational & Governance Expectations
• Monitor application availability, health, performance, operational KPIs, and SLA compliance; proactively address risks and recurring issues.
• Collaborate with business, infrastructure, database, security, QA, operations, and vendor teams to resolve production issues and deliver approved changes.
• Maintain support runbooks, troubleshooting guides, solution documentation, knowledge articles, and audit-ready records.
• Promote security, data privacy, regulatory compliance, automation, continuous service improvement, and minimal business disruption.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8-10 years in enterprise application development, maintenance, support, and technical leadership.
- Life Insurance domain exposure is preferred.
- Technical: SharePoint Online/Server; ASP.NET; ASP; SQL Server; SQL; architecture; performance tuning; security.
- Service Management: Incident, service request, change, problem, release, deployment, RCA, SLA, and knowledge management.
- Leadership: Technical mentoring; stakeholder management; client focus; communication; planning; accountability; continuous improvement
