Job Summary

Technical Lead will work closely with Business and Technical Stakeholders to understand the functional and non-functional requirements. He/She will be responsible for designing the overall Architecture of the target system – including Application component architecture, Integration Architecture and Deployment Architecture. Solution Architect will also be responsible for making key Architectural decisions along with Client Stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify core business capabilities and processes, the entities that interact with those capabilities, and the interactions between these core business capabilities
  • Expertise in modern technology stack (Microservice based architecture, AWS, Azure, PCF, Integration Platforms / API Gateway)
  • Should be hands-on with one of Java / .NET / MEAN stack and can guide the development team on the same.
  • Good understanding of different layers of Architecture and the related technologies e.g. Front end (Angular / React / Low code platforms), Integration Platforms, Business Process Orchestration, Services and modern DB concepts – both cloud and on premise.
  • Experience in documenting Non-functional requirements (NFR) of a complex system and designing solution to meet those NFRs
  • Good communication skills: oral, written, presentation and facilitation
  • Ability to produce high quality work products under pressure and within deadlines

Job Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Prior experience working with insurance industry, Good understanding of Insurance applications and products
  • Work experience in various types of application authentication and authorization mechanisms such as Identity and Access Management, Active Directory, SSO, OAuth
  • Good exposure to technology stack of security standards and controls

Nice to Have Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, prioritization, and relationship management skills
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working in different development methodologies e.g. agile and waterfall methodologies
