About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will make an impact by bridging business needs and technology solutions through effective requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. You will be a valued member of the project delivery team and work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, project managers, and end users to deliver impactful business solutions.
In This Role, You Will
- Gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify operational efficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with business and technology teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into effective solutions.
- Create and maintain user stories, functional requirements, process documentation, and workflow diagrams.
- Analyze data and business metrics to support decision-making and uncover actionable insights.
- Support Agile project teams by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and user acceptance activities.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions.
- Help ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value to stakeholders.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and data validation.
- Hands-on experience writing and executing SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Experience using Jira or similar project management and Agile collaboration tools.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage competing priorities.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience supporting digital transformation or business process improvement initiatives.
- Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of business process modeling methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Scrum Master, or comparable credentials.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale environments and cross-functional teams.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is CAD $60,300 - $95,500, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
