About the Role
As an Oracle Exadata Architect / DMA, you will make an impact by designing, implementing, migrating, and managing enterprise-scale Exadata platforms with a strong focus on high availability, performance, security, and operational excellence. You will be a valued member of our Cloud & Database Engineering team and work collaboratively with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for mission-critical environments.
In This Role, You Will:
- Architect, design, and implement Oracle Exadata and Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) solutions for enterprise workloads.
- Lead Exadata/ExaCC deployment, onboarding, commissioning, and platform lifecycle management.
- Develop architecture, sizing, capacity planning, and infrastructure modernization strategies.
- Lead migration and consolidation initiatives from on-premises and legacy database platforms to ExaCC.
- Design and implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Exadata best practices.
- Manage Exadata and ExaCC patching, upgrades, release updates (RU), and technology refresh activities.
- Perform performance assessment, capacity forecasting, workload balancing, and database optimization.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical Exadata infrastructure, storage, RAC, and database issues.
- Drive incident, problem, change, availability, and service continuity management for mission-critical platforms.
- Implement proactive monitoring, observability, logging, and operational dashboards using OEM and OCI services.
- Automate operational processes using Shell Scripting, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Collaborate with Oracle Support, infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Establish operational standards, governance processes, and engineering best practices across Exadata environments.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, solution reviews, and guidance to DBA and Cloud operations teams.
- Support customer engagements, architecture reviews, assessments, RFP responses, and transformation initiatives.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
- 5+ years of Oracle Exadata administration/architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience with Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC).
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Linux, OCI, and Exadata patching/upgrade activities.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Shell, or Python.
- Certified Oracle Exadata Implementation Specialist and/or OCI certifications.
