Job Summary:
We are looking for Engagement Delivery Partner to lead complex IT delivery across Cognizant’s MLEU portfolio in ANZ while driving client value and account growth. The role combines executive relationship management, delivery governance, team leadership, and commercial expansion.
Responsibilities:
As Engagement Delivery Partner, you will:
- Serve as the senior delivery liaison for Cognizant’s MLEU across the ANZ market, taking ownership of complex delivery escalations and driving them to timely resolution.
- Partner closely with Engagement Practice Leads (EPLs), fellow Engagement Delivery Leads (EDLs) and Project Delivery Leads (PDLs) to strengthen delivery governance and improve operational metrics across the account portfolio.
- Lead Cognizant’s internal delivery processes and cross-functional coordination, ensuring consistent execution standards across engagements.
- Leads a delivery-led sales motion, converting strong execution and client trust into organic growth — identifying whitespace, shaping new asks, and co-selling with the account/sales team rather than waiting for demand to be pulled. Champion service improvement initiatives, including the automation of repetitive or redundant delivery tasks.
- Owns the cadence and content of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with client leadership, using them to demonstrate delivered value, align on forward-looking priorities, and surface expansion opportunities.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with client-side peers, actively managing delivery expectations to consistently deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Drive account penetration by positioning Cognizant’s AI-led services, capabilities, solutions and accelerators, extending and building on existing programs.
- Engage the right stakeholders across Cognizant to ensure engagement objectives are met on time and to quality standards.
- Supervise and mentor a delivery team accountable for planning and implementation across engagements.
- Partner directly with client Vice Presidents and CIOs, aligning delivery outcomes to their strategic objectives throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Skills and experience:
- 12+ years’ experience leading large-scale delivery engagements, with a strong preference for exposure to MLEU accounts.
- Demonstrated IT services delivery experience is essential; this is distinct from general program or operations management experience outside of IT services, which will not meet the bar for this role.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with the credibility to operate at executive stakeholder level.
- Track record of converting delivery excellence into commercial outcomes — identifying and closing organic growth within existing accounts, not solely executing to scope.
- Experience owning executive-level QBRs / governance forums, using them as a structured mechanism to reinforce value delivered and shape the forward pipeline.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and escalation-management capability.
- Proven ability to independently own end-to-end program delivery, including timelines, budget and metrics.
- Project and strategic planning background, with a clear understanding of the assigned area of responsibility.
- Extensive experience operating within a global delivery model.
- Excellent client management, relationship-building and escalation-management skills.
- A track record of developing and grooming engagement leads and project managers.
Preferred Skills and experience:
- Strong exposure to SDLC and Agile/DevOps delivery methodologies.
Hands-on, client-facing experience within AI-led engagements.
Experience leading large, organization-wide transformation programs.
Prior experience leading or contributing to RFP responses.
Working knowledge of CMMI processes and best practice.
