Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Agilist with 12 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire and a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site with no travel required. The position is a day shift role providing a balanced work-life integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and project progress.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Guidewire solutions ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in adopting agile methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any impediments or challenges that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions by monitoring and managing project timelines and milestones.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders including product owners developers and QA teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the team in maintaining a high level of productivity and motivation by fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status risks and issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation including user stories test cases and release notes.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team remains competitive and innovative.
Qualifications
- Must have extensive experience with Guidewire demonstrating a deep understanding of its capabilities and applications.
- Should have a strong background in agile methodologies with a proven track record of successfully leading agile teams.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Should have a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance with experience in this domain being a plus.
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Should be proactive and solution-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Must be adaptable and flexible with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Should have a strong commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Must be proficient in using agile project management tools and software.
- Should have experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and coaching teams on agile practices.
- Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and on-site work as needed.
- Should have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
