Senior .Net Full-Stack Developer (.Net, MVC, React)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior .Net Full-Stack Developer with at least 6+ years experience to design and implement cutting-edge solutions using Azure DevOps .Net Framework ADO.NET SQL Server DevOps ASP.Net Core and Entity Framework. The ideal candidate will contribute to the company’s strategic goals by delivering robust and scalable architectures while working in a hybrid model during day shifts. Location: Halifax, NS (4 days/week-Onsite)

Roles/Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain robust software solutions using .Net Framework, .Net Core, and ASP.NET MVC to meet business requirements and enhance system performance.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize ASP.NET Core Web APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications. - Utilize React Js to create dynamic and user-friendly front-end interfaces that improve user experience and engagement.
· Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Gitlab to ensure efficient and reliable software deployment processes. - Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in .Net Programming-C# .Net to support application functionality and maintain code quality standards.
· Perform database design, optimization, and management using SQL to ensure data integrity and efficient query performance.
· Develop server-side applications using Node JS to support scalable and high-performance backend systems.
· Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring software reliability and stability.
· Provide technical expertise and support to team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing for project success. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices and deliver innovative solutions.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for effective project execution.
· Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including security, scalability, and maintainability.
· Contribute to the companys purpose by delivering high-quality software solutions that positively impact society and drive business growth.
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years development experience with React, Redux, RxJS and Node.js used to build scalable server-side APIs and modern applications.
· Experience in multi-tier applications based on Microsoft .NET technology stack including C#, .Net, .Net Core, MVC, Webforms, Web Services.
· Hands on experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful API and interface specifications (Swagger).
· Strong knowledge of relational database systems including MS SQL Server 2012-2016. Ability to create database schema to align with technical requirements of the initiative.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Canadian Pay Transparency Statement
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $ 60,300 – 99,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
