Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Pentaho Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade ETL and data integration solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) and proven experience within the insurance domain, including Guidewire Policy Center and Billing Center. The candidate will contribute to scalable data architecture, support agile delivery, and play a key role in ensuring high-quality data processing and migration.

This role involves end-to-end responsibility for leading and delivering technologically advanced, cost-effective, and enterprise-aligned designs for projects and releases. As a member of a squad, the engineer will work collaboratively with other tribe members to achieve business outcomes using agile methodologies. Mandatory Skills:
•10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, ETL, and Data Integration.
•Strong hands-on experience with Pentaho Data Integration (Spoon, Kitchen, Pan).
•Advanced knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning.
•Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and JavaScript.
•Experience with Docker-based deployments and environment management.
•Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and Jira for tracking.
•Strong understanding of ETL frameworks, data modelling, and transformation logic.
•Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum practices.
•Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
•Decision making and leadership ability
•Ability to manage a team of 8-10 developers
•Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Niche Pentaho Expertise:
•Experience in building complex transformations, reusable ETL frameworks and Pattern Jobs.
•Strong performance tuning experience (partitioning, clustering, caching).
•Pentaho repository management and deployment strategies.
•Integration with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML data handling.
•Experience with Carte server and CI/CD integration for Pentaho.

Domain Expertise:
•Strong experience in Insurance domain systems.
•Working knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Policy lifecycle.
•Experience in data migration and integration across insurance platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for understanding the source to target mapping from the technical lead.
•Develop complex ETL and database scripts for Migration framework.
•Deploy and manage solutions using Docker and Jenkin pipelines.
•Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.
•Debug Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center and Contact manager issue and provide solution for the same.
•Identify, debug, and propose enhancements or fixes for code issues.
•Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements.
•Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data quality and integrity.

Qualifications & Certifications (Optional):
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent stream


Salary Range:>$100,000
