About the role

As an InsuranceNow Architect, you will make an impact by leading the configuration, customization, and enhancement of Guidewire InsuranceNow to support Property & Casualty insurance operations. You will be a valued member of the Insurance Technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the configuration and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceNow modules including Policy, Billing, and Claims

  • Design and implement business rules, underwriting validations, claims logic, and workflow automation

  • Customize user interfaces, forms, and integrations to enhance user experience and operational efficiency

  • Define and configure product structures, carrier groups, and state-specific regulatory rules

  • Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive best practices across delivery

What you need to have to be considered:

  • 10+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance systems

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Guidewire InsuranceNow configuration and implementation

  • Experience working with Policy, Billing, and Claims modules

  • Proven experience implementing business rules, workflows, and validation frameworks

  • Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Mandatory skills (Top keywords):

  • InsuranceNow

  • API development and integrations

  • Java

These will help you stand out:

  • Experience integrating InsuranceNow with external and third-party systems

  • Knowledge of U.S. state-specific insurance regulations

  • UI/UX customization experience within InsuranceNow or similar platforms

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Experience working in Agile environments and mentoring engineering teams

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until June 14, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 110,000 - $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
