Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Lead
About the role
As a Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Lead, you will make an impact by leading the design, implementation, and delivery of Salesforce FSC solutions that align with business needs. You will be a valued member of the Salesforce delivery team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and clients to ensure successful project execution and long-term platform sustainability.

In this role, you will:
- Lead the design, build, and configuration of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions across projects of varying sizes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for FSC initiatives, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable solutions
- Manage end-to-end delivery of FSC projects (planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support)
- Collaborate with clients to gather, define, and document business requirements, and convert them into user stories
- Develop detailed implementation plans, estimates, and technical build documentation
- Present solution options, evaluating declarative vs. custom development approaches
- Perform impact analysis for scope changes and maintain alignment across requirements, configurations, and integrations
- Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems
- Demonstrate solution functionality to stakeholders and lead knowledge transfer sessions
- Provide mentorship and support to team members while fostering knowledge sharing and best practices

What you need to have to be considered:
Required Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Sales Cloud Certification preferred
- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Superbadge or FSC Accredited Professional certification required
- 7+ years of experience in the technology industry
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience across core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Pardot, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience leading Salesforce FSC implementations
- Strong experience with Salesforce configuration (custom objects, workflows, approvals, flows)
- Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and customization
- Strong knowledge of permissions, roles, reports, and dashboards
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and external system connectivity
- Fintech or financial services industry experience (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience with Agile delivery methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
Professional Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to design and deliver complex solutions under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for business audiences
- Proven ability to lead discussions with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 – 130,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
