About the role
As a Technical Consultant (ServiceNow), you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions that help clients transform and optimize their business processes. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow Professional Services team and will collaborate closely with customers, solution architects, project teams, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Design and deliver ServiceNow solutions that align with customer objectives, technical standards, and leading practices.
Define technical architectures that support long-term scalability, maintainability, and business success.
Lead customer workshops to assess current-state processes and design future-state solutions.
Advise customers on leveraging ServiceNow platform capabilities to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Provide technical leadership by resolving complex issues, supporting project delivery teams, and mentoring Associate Technical Consultants.
Guide the creation of technical documentation, business requirement workbooks, and solution artifacts.
Participate in solution scoping activities, validate requirements, and contribute to successful project delivery.
Support testing activities and adoption strategies to help customers maximize the value of their ServiceNow investment.
Maintain relevant ServiceNow certifications and stay current on platform innovations and best practices.

What you need to have to be considered
5+ years of experience within a professional services, consulting, or technology services organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow solutions.
ServiceNow certification(s) aligned with the supported workflow or platform specialization.
Experience leading technical discussions, workshops, and solution design sessions with customers.
Strong understanding of solution architecture principles and enterprise application integrations.
Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
Experience working effectively in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
Experience leveraging AI tools or AI-driven insights to improve processes, productivity, decision-making, or customer outcomes.
Understanding of AI concepts, ethical considerations, and practical business applications.

Advanced ServiceNow certifications.
Experience mentoring or leading junior consultants and technical team members.
Expertise in ServiceNow workflow solutions, platform capabilities, and industry best practices.
Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Strong consulting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience identifying opportunities for process automation and AI-enabled innovation.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $92K - $105K Canadian Dollars depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
